Ok, for those who have heard this, please delete at your disgression... otherwise please pay attention. I have done some digging and found this out. The Boards of Canada 7" entitled "Aquarius" as far as I know is only available through Skam via mail order... much like the Autechre mail order 12". I have seen shots of the cover which look like this lime green blurriness kind of like the self titled release by 777... and it says "Boards of Canada" across the front. There you have it. IMHO, it might be worth getting as far as being a completist which is fine and dandy, but the track "Aquarius" is on the Boards of Canada LP so you would at least score one of the two tracks on the 7"er. I posted an SAE to SKAM in January asking for info on mail-ordering it and heard nothing back. However a recent email on the list seems promising, as anyone who replied to it will know.

the picture I've seen is a line drawing of the guys, with colouring instructions (numbers in each area)

something I have read (review at EHX perhaps?) indicates that Aquarius may appear on the Album in a different mix. But I cannot confirm this, owning neither at present. The album version is different from and slightly inferior to the 7" version but still very good of course. adam

This is a paper insert. I also very much doubt it is a picture of BoC.

The best mix IMO is on the Aquarius 7", more low-end and funkier. The B-Side, Chinook, is a pretty crazy reworking of the original. __ |¬¬ The Cosmic Crofter crofter@ehx.ednet.co.uk - http://www.ednet.co.uk/~ehx LATEST LATEST LATEST LATEST LATEST LATEST LATEST LATEST Boards of Canada - Full Interview Diskono - what's up? try piccadilly in manchester - i got a copy off them months ago and a mate was there last week and said they've still got copies. they do reliable mail-order.

this is an insert - not the actual cover. the cover is plain turquoise with 'skam' on one side and 'BoC' on the other

the flip side 'chinook' is excellent, probably the darkest track released by BoC, similar to some of the stuff on the first v/vm release. cheers simon
